Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, contact address, market, role, seniority, skills, work preferences, compensation targets, saved jobs and employer hiring briefs. We also process limited technical and product-event data needed for security, reliability and measurement. Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you explicitly save or submit a result.

Candidate profiles

A private profile is not a public CV. We do not disclose your identity, contact details or current employer to a prospective employer without a separate affirmative introduction decision. Employers may pay for listings, access or introductions; they do not purchase your personal details.

Why and on what basis we use it

We process information to provide services you request, perform a contract, protect the service, comply with legal obligations and pursue legitimate interests such as improving recommendations and measuring demand. Where law requires consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Sharing and international processing

We share information only with service providers that host, secure, measure or process the service; with an employer when you expressly accept an introduction; or when required to protect rights or comply with law. Because the service covers several markets, information may be processed outside your country using safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention

Profile and lead responses are generally retained for no more than 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless an active account, purchase, dispute, fraud-prevention need or legal obligation requires longer. Local browser data remains until you clear it. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Submit a verified request through our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request.” We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

Security and children

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. 100K Jobs is designed for working-age professionals and is not directed to children under 16; please contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information.
